New Year, New Workshops!

Try something new this year! I’ll be teaching three printmaking techniques at the Georgetown Art Center on the first Fridays of February, March and April from 10am-12pm. These two hour workshops are perfect for beginners and a simple way to add more creativity into your routine! Find more info and join a class HERE!

Christmas Recap

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a restful break before the new year! I took some time off to be with family and printed these paper ornaments just for the fun of it!

I also started a new tradition making linocut Christmas cards to send to friends and family. The design was inspired by my own hearth at Christmas time and the 5 stockings represent me and my four kids. I’m already looking forward to creating next year’s card!

Looking Forward

As much as I dislike seeing Valentine’s Day merch in stores right after Christmas, it is true that time is short for choosing gifts! I usually give each of my kids a little something to mark the holiday. I typically try to find something useful – you know, being in spring cleaning mode. My favorite was the year I gave each of them a little travel set of watercolor paints and a notebook. Here are a few gift ideas from my shop!
