I made this piece for myself and for all the other Kings K fans out there! During the design process, I decided to include references to several Kings Kaleidoscope albums. You’ll see this in the title of the piece, “Believe! Believe!” from “Amazing Grace”, the mirror design in the background from “Kings Kaleidoscope”, the lace inside the Ks from “Baptized Imagination”, the rainbow background from “Zeal”, Chad’s jacket from “Beauty Between”, and the two mirrored Ks from “Becoming Who We Are”.

Kings Kaleidoscope is my favorite band and their music has helped me get through some really difficult years. If you’re a fan, I’m sure you feel the same way. And if you’ve never heard of Kings, go listen right now!

This piece was created completely by my own two hands. The 2 layer print was made using the reduction printmaking method. A single linoleum block is hand carved, inked, a layer of color is printed, and then the process is repeated using the same block for each color of the print. Since each layer of the print is carved away after printing, there’s no going back and the print cannot be made again. I use oil-based printmaking ink and acid-free, white printmaking paper.

This is a limited edition print. Only 6 original, hand pulled prints were made and they cannot be made again. Each handmade print has the title, “Believe! Believe!”, edition number, and artist signature written in pencil below the image. This is a handmade print and each piece has small differences in the ink that may not be shown in the listing photos.

SIZE: Paper size is 11×14”. The image measures 8×10”.

The artwork will be shipped in a cellophane bag with extra cardboard and in a rigid envelope to keep the print from bending in transit.
