Description

Southwestern University in Georgetown was the very first college established in Texas. This print features the Cullen Building which was built in 1898 in the Romanesque style of southern France. It is a beautiful building, and you really do feel like you’ve stumbled upon Europe when visiting the campus!

I hope current students, staff, and alumni will enjoy this print as it takes them back to great memories of their time at Southwestern! I loved creating this piece – it was especially fun to carve the detailed tower and dynamic Texas clouds!

This piece was created completely by my own two hands. Once carved, the linoleum block was
inked with black oil-based printmaking ink and pressed by hand onto acid-free white paper.

Paper size is 11×14”. The image measures 9×12”.

Each print is signed by the artist, in pencil, below the print. The artwork will be shipped in a cellophane bag with extra cardboard and in a rigid envelope to keep the print from bending in transit.
